Here are all textbook opportunities that happened in the stocks with a market cap of more than $100 billion.
Moderna MRNA ~ The new high trade
Trade: Buy at 196-200 on Breakout to a New High/pullback [Result: MRNA rallied to 300+ i.e. 50% upmove.]
When a stock makes a new high above a well-defined resistance and pulls back to hold the line then one should take advantage of the opportunity.
Apple ~ 200 dma trade
Trade: Go long at 124/200 dma. [Result: 18% up from 200 dma]
When a blue-chip uptrending stock takes multiple support at 200 dma, then it’s bound to surprise on the upside. Apple stock slowly built a base at 200 dma in May and then did not look back in June-July.
Pfizer ~ Buy Low and Sell High
Trade: Buy near 33 in March and now the stock has rallied to $41 i.e. upside of 24%
Pfizer stock was down and out in March 2021 when it retested 200-week ma and horizontal support levels of 33. It offered an excellent buying opportunity and the stock has bounced 24% since then.
Facebook at 200 dma
When a stock takes multiple support at 200 dma, then eventually it surprises on the upside. It resulted in upside of 40%
NVidia at 200 dma
Trade: Go long at 200 dma i.e. 140 and sold on 50% upside.
Nvidia announced a stock split in May when it was near 200 dma. A long trade at 140 resulted in a 50% upside.
Wells Fargo WFC ~ Large Candle Breakout
Trade: Go Long at 36.5 and booked profit at 46. It was an upside of 25%.
When a stock breaks out with a large candle, then one should look to buy the momentum pullback to ride the upside.
AMD ~ Bullish Base trade
Trade: Go long at 75 as the stock formed a bullish base and the stock rallied 28% from the base. The stock is still held at 86.
A strong trending stock forms a long bullish base before taking off. AMD building a base at 75 was just an example.
Microsoft ~ The new high trade
When a stock forms a new high above the well-defined resistance, then on a pullback it offers an excellent opportunity to go long. Microsoft stock did the same at 230
The long trade at 226 has resulted in an upside of 24%.
IBM ~ A slow and painful breakout
When an underperforming stock makes a comeback by breaking out above the resistance the upside comes sharp and swift but that has not been the case with IBM so far.
Why Intel is a buy at 54?
A slow turnaround is in the making when it comes to Intel stock. The stock seems to be building a base at 54 before it can go higher.
Why JP Morgan is a buy at the current market price?
JP Morgan Chase Bank has built a base at 147 over a long period of time.
Why Chevron CVX is a buy at 200 dma?
